Labradorite is a type of feldspar, can look like a lump of thick granite with sparkly blue pieces in its natural state but when polished, can be one of the most beautiful and mystical stones. Labradorite is formed in pegmaliles and alkaline igneous rocks. It obtains it's iridescence colours from a fine laminate structure which blends incoming light giving it's broad patches of peacock blue, coppery red or dusky gold labradoresance.

Other
|
Some believe Labradorite to be descended from the stars and the pictures seen on polished surfaces the universe it has travelled.Labradorite unfolds its spiritual effect best in meditation. It is physically effective if carried around. This mineral protects ones aura and helps to keep the aura clear, balanced and free from energy leaks. Night vision and flight close to the ground are enhanced by Labradorite - it sensitises the ability of the human's heat sensing apparatus to detect how close objects are. This heat sensing ability begins with the ability to see auras. It is said to bring the wearer a wealth of wisdom and understanding and it is used to heal head energy and ground the activity of an overactive mind.
